Tuition and Fees

Multiple Class & Family Discount:

Melissa's Dance Academy is pleased to offer a 10% Multiple Class Discount for dancers and immediate family members. This discount is available to help make quality dance education more affordable for families with multiple enrollments.

The 10% discount is applied to eligible tuition for dancers enrolled in multiple classes and for immediate family members enrolled at the Academy. Please see the tuition and discount chart below for a complete list of class tuition rates and available discounts.

Annual Registration Fee

An annual, non-refundable registration fee is required for all dancers.

• $15 per individual dancer
• $30 maximum per immediate family

The annual registration fee is due at the time of registration.

Family Tuition Cap

Melissa's Dance Academy is pleased to offer a maximum monthly family tuition cap of $250. Once a family's eligible monthly tuition reaches $250, no additional tuition will be charged for qualifying classes.

This tuition cap is designed to make dance education more affordable for families with multiple dancers and/or dancers enrolled in numerous classes. Registration fees, costume fees, private lessons, and other non-tuition charges are not included in the tuition cap unless otherwise specified.

Spring Recital Costume Fees

Recital costume fees typically range from $55–$95 per costume, depending on the class and costume requirements. Melissa's Dance Academy makes every effort to keep costume costs as affordable as possible while maintaining the quality and appearance of our performances.

We believe in transparent pricing. There are no hidden fees and no additional recital participation fees.

Please note that all costume purchases are non-refundable once they have been ordered.

Spring Recital Tickets

Melissa's Dance Academy offers one general admission ticket price per seat for our Spring Recital performance. By keeping one ticket price for all seats, we are able to keep ticket costs as affordable as possible for all families and guests.

Children 2 years of age and under may attend free of charge if they are seated on a parent or guardian's lap. Any child requiring their own seat must have a purchased ticket.

There are no refunds for tickets purchased.

Ticket Refund Policy

All recital ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for tickets that have been purchased, except in the event of a performance cancellation by Melissa's Dance Academy.

Winter Showcase

Melissa's Dance Academy's annual Winter Showcase is a special, informal performance designed to give dancers the opportunity to perform in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Rather than selling tickets, we simply ask attendees to make a voluntary monetary donation to help offset the cost of the performance venue.

During the Winter Showcase, dancers remain seated with their families in the audience and are called to the stage to perform with their class before returning to their seats. This unique format creates a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, making it the perfect introduction to stage performance for new and younger dancers while allowing families to enjoy the event together.

Our annual Winter Showcase and Spring Recital are currently held at the Swanton High School Auditorium, providing a comfortable venue for dancers, families, and guests to enjoy our performances.
